Three Manipur's Wushu players bag positions in virtual competition

Wushu Association of Manipur (WAM) stated that Leimapokpam Nelson Meitei bagged the 2nd place in Jianshu group B, Jona Prince Konsam bagged 3rd place in Taijijian group – B and Achom Tapas bagged 4th position in Daoshu group B.

Wushu Association of Manipur (WAM) on Monday stated that three Wushu players from the state bagged different positions in Wushu Taolu Virtual Competition organised by International Wushu Federation (IWUF) from October 27 to November 3.

In the competition, three Wushu players from the state represented the country, WAM stated in a release.

WAM stated that Leimapokpam Nelson Meitei bagged the 2nd place in Jianshu group B, Jona Prince Konsam bagged 3rd place in Taijijian group – B and Achom Tapas bagged 4th position in Daoshu group B.  

Sachidananda Mayangkambam who is senior team coach under Wushu Association of India and also a Wushu Taolu coach in department of youth affairs and sports, Manipur was the coach of the wushu players, it added.
