Social and Educational Welfare Organisation (SEWO) on Wednesday expressed vehement condemnations against the assault on the vice president of Thoubal District Working Journalists Union and Thoubal district correspondent of Naharolgi Thoudang Elangbam Rameshwor by miscreants in his home.

 “Such deliberate assault on a working journalist who is serving the people be it rain or shine, is a deplorable act and an insult to our society,” a release by SEWA stated.

Urging not to repeat such actions again, it assured that SEWA shares the grief of Elangbam Rameshor and his family.
