L Thangsianlun grabbed the gold, beating S Suresh in the Senior Men's 56 kg Low Kick category of the 24th State Kickboxing Championship 2021, organised by Kickboxing Association of Manipur at Shyamasakhi High School, Yaiskul Moirangkhom.
The bronze medal of the category was fetched by K Amarjit and Y Chinglensana Singh. As for the K-1 below 60 kg, L Ajit claimed the gold beating V Muanminthang. Rishi Chettry took the bronze medal.
As for the Senior Men's Full Contact below 56 kg, G Nandashyam Sharma got the better of Lanchenba Naorem for the gold and silver medals. In the Kick Light of 55 kg category of Senior Men, Th Roshan beat Ritishkumar Longjam for gold and silver while in the Senior Female below 44 kg, Lamabam Tomthinganbi grabbed the gold medal.
In the Junior category of 60 kg Low Kick event, Ch Jepson floored Abungsana for the gold and silver medal while in the 57 kg category K-1 event, U Tompok beat W Hira for gold and silver, and Sh Shibashan defeated Kh Brainny in the Low Kick event of 57 kg.
As for the Junior Girls event, S Julia in 65 kg Low Kick, L Mehendi in Full Contact 40 kg, Syed Raksana in 60 kg Full Contact, S Menaka in 48 kg Light Contact and Tongbram Cristina in Point Fight of 32 kg claimed the gold medals.
