K Gamnom FBBC building inaugurated in Kangpokpi

MLA Nemcha Kipgen said that the church needs to come forward to invigorate the spirit to eradicate illegal practice of poppy cultivation in the hill districts, especially under Kangpokpi assembly constituency.

The Fundamental Biblical Baptist Church of K Gamnom under Kangpokpi assembly constituency was inaugurated on Saturday. 

Revered Sheikholen Chongloi who attended the inaugural ceremony as the minister inaugurated the Church building by cutting the ribbon in the presence of the local MLA Nemcha Kipgen.

The MLA who had contributed immensely for the construction of the church building through her tithe said that a village without church is incomplete as the church has a huge role in shaping the society starting from the village administration. 

Kipgen continued that time has come for the church to immensely exhibit its role in the society as people have started no fear in defying God's words for their personal interest and this is where the church needs to exercise its huge role to mend it.

She said that the church needs to come forward to invigorate the spirit to eradicate illegal practice of poppy cultivation in the hill districts, especially under Kangpokpi assembly constituency to save humanity, land and the people particularly the youths, the future pillar of the nation.

The MLA, while appreciating the collective and tireless effort of the Church leaders and villagers in the construction of the Church building, motivated them to also collectively work tirelessly in stopping the crumbling situation of the society.
