A political consultative meeting in connection with the forthcoming Manipur Legislative Assembly election was held on Wednesday at the residence of BJP intending candidate from 53-Tamenglong assembly constituency (ST) Samuel Jendai at Khumji-5 village under Noney district.
The consultative meeting was organised by BJP workers of Awangkhul and Haochong segment in collaboration with BJP Tamenglong Mandal.
Expressing gratitude to all his workers and supporters of BJP coming from different segments and places despite all their busy works, Samuel Jendai said that he will contest again in the upcoming general election 2022.
He reaffirmed that he will contest the election on BJP ticket saying that his suspension from BJP will be revoked soon.
He further said that if he is elected again in 2022, the grievances of the farmers will be addressed effectively. Upholding agriculture in a stable process as his vision as the state is based on agro-economy.
BJP Tamenglong former president Phungan Phaomei mentioned on his speech that Samuel Jendai is the only leader and candidate in 53-Tamenglong AC who has initiated many developmental works for the people in the past years. He also encouraged all the booth level committee of BJP to uphold the party’s interest.
The consultative meeting was also attended by senior politicians, BJP Tamenglong Mandal and Segment leaders, social workers, village authority leaders, well wishers and BJP workers from the areas of Awangkhul and Haochong segment.
