The All Manipur 10th and 11th viva voice completed IRB Rifleman and written completed Jemadar candidates 2019, have appealed to the state government to declare the final result of the rifleman and fix the date for conducting viva voce of the jamadar before October 20.
The future of the candidates who took recruitment tests are at stake since the recruitment which was conducted more than two years ago has not been completed till date, stated a release on Wednesday.
As the tenure of the present government is nearing its end and with the state assembly election approaching, candidates fear the results will not be declared even before the election, it stated.
Claiming that rumours are spreading concerning completion of the recruitment process after the 2022 assembly election, the candidates also warned that they along with their guardians would be compelled to launch agitations if the rumours turned out to be true.
The candidates also appealed to the MLAs and ministers to take collective efforts so that the result is declared and the date for the viva voce is fixed before October 20.
