Clean India Campaign underway in Churachandpur

The month-long Clean India Campaign that started on October 1 will be observed in Churachandpur in more than 14 locations.

As part of the nationwide ‘Clean India Campaign’ that started on October 1, district administration Churachandpur, ADCC, 113 Battalion BSF, Nehru Yuva Kendra and Vision Lamka jointly organised a cleanliness drive between 7 am to 8 am in Churachandpur HQ area on Tuesday.

The month-long Clean India Campaign will be observed in Churachandpur as per the schedule prepared by the district youth coordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendra, in more than 14 locations.

Vision Lamka vice-chairman and CMO Dr VC Pau and Vision Lamka member LT Ngaihte were the coordinators of the cleanliness drive and they provided hand gloves and garbage bags to the volunteers.

The cleaning activities were carried out starting from the bus stand, New Bazaar and moved towards Nute Bazaar, Meat Lane and cinema hall area of Churachandpur town.
