Manipur Governor La Ganesan on Tuesday extended greetings and wishes to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Durga Puja, 2021.
People celebrate Durga Puja festival with gaiety and devotion and it contributes to the strengthening of universal brotherhood as people cutting across caste, creed and community come out to embrace Goddess Durga, governor stated in his message.
He stated that Durga Puja marks the eternal essence of victory of good over evil and ushers in hope and a bright future. “I hope that the festivity strengthens the spirit of unity to fight against all evils. May Goddess Durga, the deity of Shakti guide all in the path of righteousness and bless everybody with peace, joy and prosperity,” he added.
Works Minister Th Biswajit Singh also extended his wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion. Durga Puja marks the eternal essence of victory of good over evil and usher in hope and bright future, he stated in his message.
“May this Durga Ashtami bring in good fortune and abounding happiness for all and surround us all with positive vibes, now and forever. Happy Durga Ashtami to all,” he added.
