International Day of Girl Child observed

The day was observed as a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Pan India Awareness and Outreach Programme on Monday.

The International Day of the Girl Child was observed at Manipur North Development Association (MANEDA), Senapati by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Senapati as a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Pan India Awareness and Outreach Programme on Monday.

Retainer lawyer, DLSA, Senapati S Marysena spoke on the topic, “Digital Generation, Our Generation.” Chairman, DLSA, Senapati Samom Ibjen spoke on the topic ‘Legal Rights of a Girl Child.’

As a part of the programme, notebooks, pens, soaps with soap cases, towels, hair bands, face masks and refreshments were provided to the inmates. Around 50 persons took part in the programme.
