Manipur: Tuiatengphai village gets new PHSC building after 47 years

The new PHSC building was inaugurated by MLA of Singhat assembly constituency Ginsuanhau Zou on Monday.

A new building of Primary Health Sub-Centre (PHSC), Tuiatengphai, Churachandpur district was inaugurated by MLA of Singhat assembly constituency Ginsuanhau Zou on Monday.

The MTDC chairman inaugurated the primary health sub-centre as chief guest in the presence of Churachandpur DC Pawan Yadav, CMO Dr Vumchinpau Tonsing and seven chiefs of the area, including chief of Tuaitengphai village.

On the occasion, Ginsuanhau said that as an MLA of the area, his main focus is development in the health sector, drinking water and road connectivity. Declaring that Tuaitengphai PHSC will soon be upgraded to PHC with doctors round the clock, he said that many health sectors in all corners of the assembly constituency will be developed soon under the support from CM Biren.

Pawan Yadav appreciated the MLA’s effort in making ready the much needed new building after 47 years. He urged the staff of the PHSC to run the health centre in a patient-friendly manner.

Tuaitengphai village PHSC under Singngat AC was established in 1974. The new building was constructed under the initiative of the concerned MLA Ginsuanhau after a gap of 47 years.
