World Heart Day observed at Moreh

During the programme, BP check, diabetic blood sugar test and ECG test were conducted to the participants, followed by providing free medicines to those who have health complications.

World Heart Day was observed at Sub District Hospital, Moreh on Saturday, jointly organised by District Health Society, Tengnoupal and District Non-Communicable Diseases Cell.

The observance was attended by Tengnoupal CMO Dr Kh Gojen; Sub District Hospital Moreh MO in-charge Dr H Manoranjan; and Sub District Hospital Moreh MO Dr Yarash Ali as dais members.

Speaking on the prevention and remedies of heart disease, Dr Gojen said that high blood pressure patients should be more careful in their daily routine of lifestyle. He advised the BP patients to take care of their diets or food habits and take their medicine regularly.
