The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) results of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (examination 2020) will be declared exclusively online with no result booklets being given to anyone.
Controller of Examinations, MBOSE Tura, T R Laloo said, “We will release an official notice this weekend announcing the result date of the HSSLC.”
He then informed that the entire evaluation process has been completed and they are just working on the process of declaring the date for the result.
Stating that the result for HSSLC is very close, he said the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results are also not far off.
“We will declare the results of the Science stream of the HSSLC exam first and then propagate the results for the Commerce stream,” he said while informing that a request has come forth from principals and heads of institutions that the results should not be declared at once because of the impact that this will have on those seeking admission in the context of the need to maintain social distancing in the present Covid-19 situation.
When asked about the completion of the syllabus under the Covid-19 crisis, Laloo stated that the government is looking into the issue and that nothing concrete has been decided.
