IMPHAL, Jul 28: The Department of Posts, Manipur division has launched the Passenger Reservation System (PRS)/ Railway ticket booking through the Post Office. The problem that was earlier faced by the public of having to wait in queue at the only counter at MSRTC building will now be resolved with the advent of the service of the postal department.

At present, a pilot project with the facility is currently available at the Senapati Sub-Post office and Bishenpur Sub-Post Office with a scope to expand in almost all the post offices in Manipur. The public is therefore requested to take the opportunity to walk in to the counters of any of the two post offices for railway reservations.
