Jual Oram promises more fund for state

“Well begun is half done” said K Bhabananda Singh, president Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state unit during the 37th foundation day programme held at community hall of Tengnoupal head quarters today.

The programme was organised by BJP Schedule Tribe Morcha state unit highlighting empowerment, poverty elevation and welfare programme.

President of the function Bhabananda further said that to bring good governance in the state development should be brought both in the hill and valley, which is a BJP agenda. And districts are also very essential to bring development.

“To bring development of the state, central and state government are working hand in hand. With BJP led coalition government people can see a change as the state government created anti-corruption cell, started cleaning of Imphal city and repairing of pot holes in the city roads,” he said.

The president also said that honouring Manipur’s achievements in the field of sports, National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government made of London Olympic bronze medallist, Chungneijang Mery Kom Hmangte, better known as Mary Kom as member of the Rajya Sabha.

“With the conversion of look east policy to act east policy by the NDA government Tengnoupal district will benefits,” he added.

Chief guest of the function Jual Oram, Union minister for tribal affairs, government of India said that BJP government came to the state not to earn money but for the development of the state. He also said the NDA government is ready to sanction endless amount of money for development and welfare of the state.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi better known as Narendra Modi state BJP leaders and workers should think themselves as Modi. And as per 2016 census report out of the total number of 707 districts in India around 300 districts have been visited by Prime Minister for development programmes.

During the Congress government at the Centre the problems of a state was discussed at Delhi but after NDA government the problems are discussed with respective state governments and then by the Centre, he added.

Within three years of Narendra Modi government many schemes had succeeded.

He promised to fulfil the memorandum submitted by village chief for the development and welfare of the village as well as for the district and the issues will be discussed with District Rural Development Agency (DRDA).
