The Kha-Maikei Light Vehicle (Passenger) Association, Kakching has resolved to cease passenger transport services indefinitely in Kakching district from tomorrow following an urgent meeting of the association held today at Kakching Super Market.
A release said the association has appealed the state government numerous times to repair the road stretch of Kakching Lamkhai to Wabagai along the Indo Burma Sugnu which is in deplorable state. However, no positive response was made from the side of the government which made them to take this step, it added.
