3 nominations filed in Jiribam

JIRIBAM | Feb 16 (JNN)

Today on the last date of nomination for the second phase of Manipur Legislative Assembly election, 2017, three candidates have submitted their nomination papers to the returning officer of Jiribam constituency at the Deputy Commissioner Officer, Jiribam.

The former Jiribam MLA A Biren Singh submitted his nomination paper from North East India Development Party (NEIDP) while Habib Ali of Sonapur, Jiribam submitted his nomination from National People’s Party (NPP) followed by Md Jalal Uddin of Babupara, Jiribam also submitted his nomination as Independent candidate.

Altogether, seven candidates have submitted their nomination papers for the Jiribam constituency for the upcoming State Assembly election.
