NEIDP for real change: Nabachandra
IMPHAL| Feb 16
NEIDP candidate in Wangkhem constituency and former UCM president Yumnam Nabachandra said that NEIDP was born for change. He was speaking during a one day political conference at Haokha Mamang Leikai playground in the constituency.
He said, “Political parties in Manipur always talk of bringing change. So far, the change people have witnessing is politicians changing parties to suit their vested interests.”
NEIDP will bring the required infrastructures for a self sustainable economy in Manipur within 20 years.
NEIDP president Narengbam Samarjit appealed to people to think over “why there is no peace in the state, why people’s voice has been suppressed, why there is huge gap between rich and poor in society, why people cannot see their future in the State when there is politics.”
He said, this is because the state is governed from Delhi.
This prompted for the need of bridging the lapsing gap through our own political ideology which is suitable to our state and North East Region at large, he added.
Meanwhile, former BJP steering committee members of Patsoi constituency numbering 21 has joined NEIDP.
