UDCLPA supports Haokip

IMPHAL | Feb 16

United Development Committee, Loktak Project Area (UDCLPA) has voiced its support BJP candidate Telsing Ngamjang Haokip for the upcoming general assembly election for 57-Henglep AC (ST), Churachandpur district said in a consultative meeting held on February 15 at Community hall, Zeihkulong Village, Loktak Project, Churachandpur, Manipur.

John Phaomei president of UDCLPA said in a release that senior leaders, intellectuals, civil society leaders, youth, women and well wishers from different tribes namely Rongmei, Kom, Aimol, Chiru and Chothe participate the meeting.

An election sub-committee also formed to deal with the election matters and to mobilise and campaign for a grand success of the candidate, the release added.
