CCpur police takes anti-narcotic pledge

CCPUR | 16 Feb

Under the initiative of the Churachandpur district police led by superintendent, Rakesh Balwan, more than 800 personnel including officers, constables, women police from various departments pledged together to refrain from using narcotic drugs, at Peace ground multi-purpose hall at Tuibong here today.

The  large contingent of the men in uniform  took a pledge that  ''we the personnel of Churachandpur police hereby  take  pledge that we will never take narcotic  in our life  and at the same time we will give our best  toward making Churachandpur  a drugs free  district.

 On the occasion Balwan pointed out that the police in collaboration with the Narcotic Control Burial and the 25 Assam riffle started destroying poppy plantation today which will continue elsewhere in the interior village.
