2nd Division I-League: NEROCA FC on top of group after second consecutive away win at Guwahati

IMPHAL, December 5: NEROCA FC, Imphal defeated Gangtok Himalayan Sports Club, GHSC Gangtok by 1-0, in their second away match of the Second Division Hero I-League at Paljor Stadium, Sikkim today making it to the top in their group.

NEROCA with two wins and a draw in three games have now seven points.

Mohommedan Sporting and Gangtok Himalayan Sports Club with four points each are sharing the second spot in the group.

NEROCA had drawn against Fateh Hyderabad Football Club which was their first Home match and also their first I-League match.

After the first match draw, NEROCA has won both their away matches including today’s.

Ronald scored the winner for NEROCA in today’s match during injury time in the 90+2 minute after both teams had failed to score any goal during normal time.

The group topper will now play on December 12 against Mohammedan Sporting at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
