MOA congratulates State medals winners

IMPHAL, July 25: The Manipur Olympic Association has congratulated the four athletes of the State who bagged medals in the opening day of 20th Common Wealth Games held at Glasgow, Scotland, said a press release of MOA today.

The four players are Kh Sanjita Chanu who bagged gold medal in weightlifting for 48 kg category; S Mirabai Chanu bagged silver medal in the same event; Sushila Likmabam bagged silver medal in Judo for 48 kg category and Kalpana Thoudam who also bagged bronze medal in Judo for 52 kg category.

It said that the association will organise a grand felicitation function of all medal winners and participants of the CWG after their arrival at home. The association will also recommend them for suitable govt jobs.
