KCP half yearly journal

The half yearly journal of the outlawed KCP’s ‘Lanthengminnasi Eikhoi’ was released today, according to a statement of its department of information and publicity. The current publication includes address of the president of the outfit on its 37th anniversary, editorial on ‘Khunai Hanna, Lanaina Konna’, ‘BJP, Hindutva amadi Eikhoigi Laibak’, ‘Nungaiba Punsi Haibasi Karino’ and Historical Materialism among others, it said.

Moreh 24 hours bandh

In protest against the IED explosion occurred yesterday, the civil volunary organisations of Moreh, HTC, KSO, MYC and KWU and HR imposed a 24 hours total shutdown in Moreh town and Asian Highway-1 from the midnight of May 18 to the midnight of May 19.

Police arrests UG members

A team of district police commando, Imphal East arrested one self-styled private of NSCN (IM) from the area of Nagaram community hall on May 16 and the arrested person has been identified as E Khuisang Athem, 28, son of E Ringshung of Kasom Khullen village, at present at New Checkon, said a release.
